Botanik Coastal Citrus Cooler

There’s something unmistakable about an Australian summer by the water — the warm breeze, the scent of citrus trees in the heat, and that gentle briny whisper that tells you you’re close to the sea. The Coastal Citrus Cooler captures all of that in a glass.

This cocktail is crisp, refreshing, and layered with the botanicals that make Botanik shine. It’s the kind of drink you hand to guests as they arrive, still glowing from the sun, ready to settle into the evening.

Ingredients

  • 45 ml Botanik Citrus Dry Gin or Spice Dry Gin

  • 30 ml fresh ruby grapefruit juice

  • 15 ml lime juice

  • 10 ml simple syrup

  • 60 ml soda water

  • Pinch of sea salt flakes

  • Grapefruit slice + rosemary sprig for garnish

Method

  1. Add gin, grapefruit, lime, syrup, and a tiny pinch of sea salt to a shaker with ice.

  2. Shake lightly — just enough to chill and blend.

  3. Strain into a tall glass filled with fresh ice.

  4. Top with soda water and give a gentle stir.

  5. Garnish with a grapefruit slice and a rosemary sprig.
